Panel 1
It shows a deep forest with little sunlight breaking through the leaves.
Panel 2
Lyra's foot smashes down on the ground, rustling the dead leaves on the forest pathway.
Lyra(Narrating)-(It's funny how you start the day running late to class…)
Panel 3
Showing the back of Lyra, revealing that she is running.
Lyra(Narrating)-(…and the next minute…)
Panel 4
Lyra running frantically in a semi-chibi mode while being chased by three monstrous creatures.
Lyra(Narrating)-(…You're running for your life!)

[Earlier Today] Distance view of Lyra running down a school hallway.
Lyra-"Oh man…"
Panel 2
Full shot of Lyra still running to class.
Lyra-"I am so late."
Panel 3
Lyra then unexpectedly crashes into the back of someone.
Panel 4
Lyra plops to the floor from the impact.
Lyra-"Hey watch out! I'm trying not to be late to class!"

Panel 1
The man partially turns around towards her with his identity still hidden.
Panel 2
Lyra looks confused about the man's slow reaction.
Panel 3
The man's head turns to reveal his face being completely covered by a black flame-like shadow face.
Panel 4
Lyra screams out about the look in a semi-chibi frenzy.
Lyra-"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR FACE!!!"

Panel 1
A small gladiator-like sword then slices through the man's upper shoulder.
Panel 2
The sword strikes into the ground between Lyra and the man.
Panel 3
At the end of the hallway shows Xiphos with his left arm stretched out from throwing the sword and a note card in his other hand.
Xiphos-"You are scum. Marked by Sin, and have now escaped to the world of living."
Panel 4
Close up of Xiphos palely reading from his note card.
Xiphos-"As a protector of both realms, I have divine law to cast you back."

Panel 1
The man yells furiously at Xiphos.
Man-"LIKE HELL I'LL LET YOU SEND ME BACK!!"
Panel 2
The amulet on Xiphos's arm begins to glow.
Panel 3
The hilt's end of the sword reacts to the glow.
Panel 4
A portal opens up horizontally, engulfing the man and Lyra.
Panel 5
The portal then closes back up, disappearing along with the two.

Panel 1
Lyra pops up midair in an unknown area.
Panel 2
Realizing she's in midair, flaps her arms rapidly in a desperate attempt to fly.
Panel 3
The view pans down as Lyra slams into the ground.
Panel 4
Lyra slowly gets up with a throbbing pain.
Lyra-"Arh-What just happened? Who were those guys?-!"

Panel 1
Lyra looks up to see a huge university-like building.
Lyra-"Where am I!?"

Lyra walking through the main entrance.
Lyra-"Wasn't I just in my own school? This place is huge!"
Panel 2
A book flies in, smacking Lyra on the back of her head.
Panel 3
The book continues onward while Lyra is yelling at it.
Lyra-"Hey what's the big idea! Is that book flying?"
Panel 4
The book lands into someone's hand.
Panel 5
Head shot of Saiki with her book.
Saiki-"Oh I don't think it's very healthy to talk to books.

Panel 1
Lyra looking confused while talking to Saiki.
Saiki-"So how did you end up here? Did you need help with anything?"
Lyra-"What are you talking about? I don't even know what this place is?"
Saiki-"Oh weren't you told passing over? This is Limbo. For those that have died and passed on they wait here before being sent to their appropriate afterlife."
Panel 2
Lyra, shocked of what she had just heard.
Lyra-"D-Dead?"
Panel 3
Lyra shown down on the floor in defeat while Saiki looks in her book.
Lyra-"No. This can't be right. I must be dreaming."
Saiki-"Sorry but it happens to everyone. Let me just check the records to see how-"

Panel 1
Saiki is astonished to not see Lyra's record, which makes Lyra leap back up to her feet, pointing at her with a sign of victory.
Saiki-"What!? You really are alive!!"
Lyra-"HA! Dream or not, I knew I wasn't dead!"
Panel 2
Saiki questions Lyra who is now confused again.
Saiki-"But something like this has never happened before! How did you get here?"
Lyra-"Oh, uh this kid threw some portal sword at me and this creepy looking guy then I'm suddenly here."
Saiki-"So it was a Daemon."
Panel 3
Lyra pictures Xiphos as a scary imp.
Lyra-"A demon? Like those little devil things?"
Saiki-"No, wrong thing. A Daemon is one whose job is to bring escaped spirits back to Limbo."
Panel 4
Saiki begins pushing Lyra towards the exit.
Saiki-"Neither the less, we have to fix this mistake. Take this slip and go have a Daemon sign it."

Panel 1
Lyra walks down the entrance steps looking back at Saiki who is waiting by the entrance.
Saiki-"If you head down that way it should take you straight to the Daemon's headquarters."
Panel 2
Close up of Saiki smiling.
Saiki-"And watch out for strangers!"
Panel 3
Close up of Lyra confused by her statement.
Lyra-?
Panel 4
Lyra pridefully heads off to the outside world.
Lyra-"Ha what's there to be scared of? Ghosts!? I'll just go get my one-way ticket back to sanity now."

[Now] Lyra running through the forest being chased by a group of monsters screaming.
Lyra-"Ok I believe in this place now! Just get me out of here!!"
Panel 2
The footsteps of someone running into the scene.
Panel 3
Lyra, hearing something, looks back.
Panel 4
Xiphos slashing through the first monster with his sword while the two behind halted.

Panel 1
Xiphos uses the momentum to leap away from them.
Panel 2
Xiphos lands on the side of a tree while throwing his sword back at them.
Panel 3
The second monster reflects the sword with his arm as a shield.
2nd creature-"Ha! You think that'll be enough to stop me!?"
Panel 4
Xiphos slashes down through him with a scythe blade forming from his right arm.

The final monster tries to hold his fear in.
3rd creature-"Wh-When our boss hears about this-"
Panel 2
Xiphos slices him open with a spinning strike showing blades now on both arms.

Close up of Xiphos's eyes with an unemotional expression.

Lyra shocked from observing Xiphos's power.
Lyra-(This kid from earlier. He really is a Daemon.)

Xiphos looks over at Lyra with a mellow expression.
Panel 2
Lyra looking back at Xiphos in confusion.
Panel 3
Xiphos still staring at Lyra.
Panel 4
Lyra now becoming creeped out by his stare.
Panel 5
Xiphos reaches into his pocket to grab something.
Panel 6
Xiphos pulls out a note card and begins reading it aloud.
Xiphos-"Dear citizen of Limbo, please go about your business as usual. As a Daemon, I take pride with the duty of protecting-"
Panel 7
Lyra kicks him in the face with fury.

Panel 1
Xiphos innocently confused about the hit while Lyra yells at him.
Xiphos-"W-What was that for?"
Lyra-"What was that for!? I was going about my day when you show up and send me to this crazy place! And what the heck is with all these monster thing!"
Panel 2
Xiphos begins to stand up while grabbing a note card.
Xiphos-"So you're alive? I don't think I have a note card for that. As for the monsters…"
Panel 3
Showing a silhouette of a marked man hungry for power.
Xiphos-"Those are people who have sinned greatly in life. They are cursed to bare its mark as they wait for their journey to the underworld.
Panel 4
Lyra listening to Xiphos
Xiphos-"But I see you have a slip in your hand."

Panel 1
Lyra hands the slip over to Xiphos.
Lyra-"O-Oh right. Here.
Xiphos-"Seeing as you already have a signature from a Lord, you just need a Daemon to sign it."
Panel2
Showing the slip now signed by Xiphos and Saiki.
Xiphos-"Now you should be able to go back home."
Panel 3
It shows the hands of someone else clapping.
Panel 4
Xiphos looks back seriously.
Panel 5
Lyra looking past Xiphos stunned.
Panel 6
The person clapping shown to be far from the two headed their way.
Man-"And like the pieces of a puzzle, everything falls into place. I have to give the Daemon some credit, he arrived much earlier then expected."

Shows a full view of the man from before.
Minoburu-"I don't think I introduced myself the last time we met. The name's Minoburu."
Panel 2
Xiphos and Lyra still looking at him in their previous state.
Lyra-"!!? It's that creepy guy from earlier!"
Xiphos-"Do you really think any plan you make involving a Daemon will work.
Panel 3
Minoburu explaining with a faded image from when he and Lyra were trapped in the portal.
Minoburu-"Oh? But you've already been such a big help. All I had to do was make sure someone living got sent to Limbo with me.

A mid shot of Minoburu.
Minoburu-"Do you know the true origin of these 'Marks of Sins.' They're actually a small essence of Daemons, making it much easier to track who they judge evil. However this is also a double edged blade, for those of us with enough will, we can control this power for ourselves."
Panel 2
Xiphos readying himself for battle while Lyra stands behind him.
Minoburu-"Just think. With that slip, I'll be able to roam freely with immunity from you Daemons. But I digress."
Panel 3
Minoburu snaps his fingers.
Panel 4
The defeated monsters suddenly wake back up.

Minoburu giving an overconfident smile with the monsters surrounding him.
Minoburu-"When I was alive I was a field medic who, even I admit, was a bit to fascinated with removing limbs. So it makes sense that I can revive my 'minions.'"

Close up of Minoburu's vacant eyes.
Minoburu-"Now do me a favor and bring me that slip."
Panel 3
The three monsters charge headfirst at Xiphos and Lyra.
Panel 4
Xiphos guards Lyra with both of his arms stretched out.
Xiphos-"You need to get out of here. If you go, he wont be able to get the slip."
Lyra-"What about you?"

Showing the back of Xiphos who isn't looking back at Lyra.
Xiphos-"It's my job to protect both realms. Besides…"
Panel 2
Lyra, frozen with a look of realization.
Xiphos-"I've always foughten for others."
Panel 3
Lyra breaks her trance and begins running off.
Lyra-"Right."
Panel 4
The first monster leaps in to attack Xiphos.
Panel 5
Xiphos grabs on to both of the monster's shoulders.

Panel 1
Xiphos lifts over the monster, striking him with his scythe blades before landing down.
Panel 2
Xiphos, in mid-landing, is locked with fear realizing Minoburu is right behind him with his fist ready to smash.
Minoburu-"YOU THINK I'M GONNA LET A KID SEND ME TO HELL!!!"

Showing Lyra's feet dashing further into the woods.
Panel 2
Lyra's feet begin to slow in pace.
Panel 3
Lyra eventually comes to a stop.
Panel 4
A distance shot Lyra looking back from where she came.

A close up of Lyra now looking down with depression.
Panel 6
A flashback of Lyra as a little girl surrounded by boys picking on her.
Lyra(Narrating)-(ever since I was little, everyone would pick on me for my family being poor.)

Now most of the boys are beaten up with young Lyra about to punch the last one standing.
Lyra(Narrating)-(I'd get into a lot of fights because of it. I had to change schools a lot from all the times I got in trouble with the teachers.)
Panel 2
Young Lyra in the principal's office sitting across from his desk.
Lyra(Narrating)-(In my first year middle school, the principal called my parents to come down to talk.)
Panel 3
Young Lyra in her chair, bowing her head with sorrow.
Lyra(Narrating)-(But they never came.)
Panel 4
Shows two cars crashing into each other.

Panel 1
Shows the back of Lyra walking down a crowded hallway with the other students glaring at her while gossiping with one another.
Lyra(Narrating)-(From then on I promised never to fight for myself. Bullies began calling me a coward, because of it; I never made a lot of friends.)
Panel 2
Xiphos, now injured from the prolonged battle.
Lyra(Narrating)-(But what he said…)
Panel 3
Opposite of him is Minoburu with his defeated minions scattered around him.
Minoburu-"My power rivals Daemons twice your age. You really think you can beat me!"
Panel 4
A close up of Xiphos panting heavily.
Xiphos-"If I stall you long enough…the slip will forever be out of your reach…and more Daemons will show up here."
Panel 5
Minoburu looks casually off to the side.
Minoburu-"In that case I better get my ticket out of here."
Panel 6
Lyra returns to them with a bold stature.

Panel 1
Xiphos, not being able to comprehend Lyra's actions.
Xiphos-"W-Why did you come back?"
Panel 2
Lyra clinches her fist.
Lyra-"I made a promise to never fight for myself. Other kids called me a coward and after awhile I believed them.
Panel 3
A side view of Lyra's determined look.
Lyra-"But what you made me realize that I never said anything about fighting for others. I'm Lyra by the way.
Panel 4
Xiphos still puzzled by her.
Xiphos-"Xiphos."
Panel 5
Minoburu glows with pride while snapping his fingers.
Minoburu-"How sweet of you. But not even a Daemon could beat me, let alone a powerless girl. I'll cut this short by finishing this brat."
Panel 6
One of the minions wakes up only to fire a single beam.

Panel 1
Lyra rushes off between the beam and Xiphos.
Panel 2
Minoburu, stunned by Lyra's choice.
Minoburu-"What!? NO!!! If she gets destroyed so will the slip!!"
Panel 3
Lyra reaches Xiphos and stands guarding him arms wide open.
Panel 4
The beam makes contact, resulting in an explosion.

Panel 1
As the smoke clears, Lyra is unscratched, with her as Xiphos pondering on what happened. In the corner is a side note with a chibi picture of Saiki.
Lyra-"I'm…ok?"
Sidenote-It makes sense that she's indestructible seeing that she has a physical form in what would be an intangible world.

Panel 1
Lyra pushes aside her questions and heads straight for Minoburu.
Lyra-"I don't know what just happened but I'll take it."
Panel 2
Minoburu, frustrated with the situation.
Minoburu-"Even if you survived that I'm the strongest there is!! I'll beat you in an instant!!"
Panel 3
Both of them about to punch one another.
Panel 4
Lyra's fist closing in on Minoburu's torso.
Panel 5
Minoburu's fist almost reaching Lyra's shoulder.

Panel 1
Minoburu's fist makes contact but shows no sign of damage.
Panel 2
Minoburu shocked by his little effect.
Minoburu-(I-I hit her!!! But why does it feel like punching solid metal!)
Panel 3
Lyra's punch lands a strong impact on Minoburu.

Panel 1
Now unconscious, Minoburu begins falling back.
Minoburu-(Such…Power…)
Panel 2
Showing Lyra with her determined look.
Minoburu-(…This…girl…)
Panel 3
Minoburu lands on the ground, defeated.
Panel 4
Lyra notices Xiphos limping over to her.
Panel 5
Xiphos gives off a shy look.
Xiphos-"Uh…I don't have a note card for thanking a living person saving a Daemon."
Panel 6
Lyra has a slight grin and laugh.
Lyra-"Oh just a thanks was enough."
Panel 7
Lyra snaps out of her laugh.
Xiphos-"So you should be able to use the slip now."

Panel 1
Lyra takes the slip out from inside her jacket.
Lyra-"Yeah here is it."
Xiphos-"Just hold it up in front of you and it should activate.
Panel 2
Lyra holds the slip up and it begins to float.
Lyra-"Oh and don't worry, I won't tell anyone. They'd probably think I was crazy anyway."
Panel 3
A portal starts forming around the slip in a circular form.
Panel 4
Lyra standing in front of a completed portal.
Lyra-"Well… looks like it's the end."

Panel 1
Xiphos watches Lyra stepping through the portal only to land face first on the other side.
Panel 2
Lyra covering her nose from the pain while the portal turns back into it's slip form and lands into Xiphos's hands to study.
Lyra-"AArrhh!! Why didn't it work!"
Xiphos-"Let me take a look."
Panel 3
Xiphos shows a slightly torn slip to Lyra who is freaking out.
Xiphos-"See. The part with the Lord's signature was torn off."
Lyra-"It must have been from that blast!"
Panel 4
Lyra then cheers right back up.
Lyra-"Ok so I'll just go to that librarian and she'll just give me a new one."

Panel 1
Lyra and Xiphos are back to where she started only to find the entire university gone.
Lyra-"Where is it!!"
Panel 2
Lyra freaking out again with Xiphos looking where it last was.
Xiphos-"Saiki's been known to travel frequently."
Lyra-"She couldn't have gotten far! I mean it's a flying giant school, we should spot it easily!"
Xiphos-"No, there's no telling where she's at. It would be best to go to the nearest Lord."
Panel 3
Lyra bows her head with exhaustion.
Lyra-"Let me guess, it's far."
Xiphos-"Three day walk."

Panel 1
Lyra stretching her back for the long journey.
Lyra-"Well we should get started then."
Xiphos-"We?"
Panel 2
Lyra points her finger at Xiphos.
Lyra-"You're the one who knows the way. You're the one who needs to sign it. You're the one who got me here in the first place. And you're the one who's still injured."
Panel 3
Lyra and Xiphos head off while several creatures watch them from the shadows.
Lyra-"Besides. How hard can it be?"
