Panel 1

Xiphos walking on their journey with Lyra dragging behind.

Lyra-“Uuugh. How far have we been walking?”

Xiphos –“5 minutes. If you want to turn back you can.”

Panel 2

Full shot of Lyra annoyed by Xiphos.

Lyra-“And get stuck in this Limbo-place? Hell no! I need you to take me to the guy that can sign my ticket out of here since this is all your fault.”

Panel 3

Full shot of Xiphos annoyed while reading a note card.

Xiphos-“’When one is permitted to leave Limbo for the physical world, a Daemon must accompany him or her till both a Daemon and a Lord party sign.’ So I only have to escort you to Lord Yomi… in three-five days.”

Panel 4

Lyra, frustrated, grabs Xiphos by the collar who reads another note card.

Lyra-“What!? You said it would only be three days!?”

Xiphos-“’ all Daemons when not on duty are required to remain post at the Daemon headquarters.’ So I’ve never been there myself.”

Lyra-“You mean we might not even be going in the right direction!”

Panel 5

Above in the sky shows a twinkle of light.

Panel 1

Lyra and Xiphos in their same position curiously look up at the sky.

Lyra-“What is that?”

Panel 2

The twinkle of light starts to take a human shape.

Lyra-“Is that a…”

Panel 3

Shows that it is a young boy, Fue, falling from the sky screaming and tearing.

Lyra-“…a person?”

Panel 4

Fue crashes into the ground further ahead.

Panel 1

Xiphos and Lyra begin to head to the scene.

Lyra-“Whaa-!? We gotta go help him.”

Xiphos-“It’s a Daemons duty to assist in any unnatural affairs.”

Full shot of Fue unconscious from the crash.

Panel 3

The two make it up to Fue and Lyra grabs onto him.

Lyra-“Is he alive?”

Xiphos-“I’ll have to report for a medical squad, he might not be in any condition to move.”

Panel 4

Shows through Fue’s point of view as his eyes open slightly.

Lyra-“Oh I think he’s waking up!”

Panel 5

Still through Fue’s point of view shows an overly romanticized version of Lyra.

Lyra-“Hey are you ok?”

Fue falls unconscious again with blood squirting from his nose.

Lyra-“AH! He died again!”

Voice-“Hey what do you think you’re doing!?”

Panel 2           

Shows a full shot of the man, Fue’s teacher, heading towards them.

Fue’s Sensei-“Fue! What are you doing harassing these people!”

Panel 3

Lyra stands up to see Fue’s teacher catching up to them.

Fue’s Sensei-“Sorry about that, I had Fue train his defense and specifically told him not to land on anyone.”

Lyra-“Oh no we were just passing through and we thought he needed help.” Out of bubble-What kind of training is that!! “My name’s Lyra and he’s Xiphos. See we’re trying to find the nearest Lord…”

The teacher points his thumb back to where they came.

Fue’s Sensei-“

Panel 2

Xiphos walks up to Lyra and Fue’s teacher conversation.

Lyra-“Uh we would but-“

Xiphos-“Lord Saiki already moved from that location. You must not have been informed.”

Panel 3

The teacher gives a soft laugh unconvinced.

Fue’s Sensei-“Heh. The great and wise Saiki wouldn’t have abandoned her top teacher…right?”

Panel 4

Shows Fue’s teacher on the floor in defeat in complete darkness except for a spotlight on him.

Fue’s Sensei-“NOOOOO!! The great and wise Saiki abandoned us!!”

Panel 1

Fue’s teacher screams at Fue who regains conscious freaking out.

Fue’s Sensei-“It’s all your fault!! Lord Saiki must have hated how pathetic you are and wanted to leave you behind!”

Panel 2

Fue screaming and crying trying to claw away as his teacher drags him off.

Fue’s Sensei-“It looks like I’ll have to train you to be at least accepted by Lord Saiki!”

Shows Lyra and Xiphos looking confused as Fue screams in the background.

Panel 1

Later on Xiphos continues on while Lyra points furiously at him.

Xiphos-“It’ll be dark in a few hours. Looks like our arrival will be delayed to four-six days.”

Lyra-“That’s even if we’re going in the right way!”

Panel 2

Shows a pebble skipped on the ground further off.

Panel 3

Xiphos quickly looks towards that direction past Lyra who looks confused at him.

Lyra-“What’s with you?”

Xiphos-“There’s someone following us.”

Panel 4

Shows that there is a single tree in the field that Lyra is yelling at.

Fue-“There’s no one behind this tree…”

Lyra-“What kind of idiot would believe that!?”

Panel 5

Fue cautiously emerges from behind the tree.

Panel 1

Lyra is shocked as Fue throws himself at her tearfully.

Fue-“Please take me with you!!”

Lyra-“GAH! It’s that kid from before!”

Panel 2

Fue quickly shies back away twirling his fingers with a small nosebleed.

Fue-“Oh, well I’d appreciate it if you would anyway…”

Panel 3

Mid shot of Xiphos.

Xiphos-“Why? Weren’t you training with your Master?”

Panel 4

Fue goes into a shock and begins shivering as he imagines his teacher.

Fue-“You’re right but…Well Sensei’s not mean and all but his trainings hurt. Sensei’s idea of increasing my defense is by catapulting me into the ground…”

Shows Fue teary eyed as Lyra approaches him.

Fue-“…I’d tell him I don’t’ want to train anymore, but I’m afraid he’d fail me. Maybe it’d be better if I just transferred to Lord Yomi’s location.”

Lyra-“Wait, you know how to get to the next Lord?”

Panel 2

Lyra leaps up and down with joy, shaking Fue along with her who is confused but happy about it.

Lyra-“YES! So you can show us how to get there quickly and I’ll be out of this nightmare in no time!”

Xiphos-Out of Bubble-[Who said I wasn’t going the right way?]

Panel 3

Shows Lyra and Fue again but this time with fur looking excited at her.

Fue-“So really? You’d take me along!?”

Lyra-“Sure. We need to get there anyway and you’re our best bet to finding it fast.”

Close up of Fue with his eyes closed, happy in a daydream.

Fue-“Oh, to think I could leave this place once and for all. And to not be tormented by daunting tasks.

Panel 5

Fue quickly snaps back into reality screaming to the sound of his teacher right behind him.

Fue’s Sensei-“What’s going on here!?”

Fue-“AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!”

Full shot of Fue’s teacher looking down on him.

Fue’s Sensei-“I knew you weren’t working hard training! Instead I find you ‘goofing off’ with these kids again!”

Panel 2

Shows Fue avoiding eye contact and hesitantly looks down as Lyra looks at him from the behind.

Fue’s Sensei-“Since you wanted to take a break you’ll get 100 more laps to run. Well come on!”

Fue-“Well…I uh…uh…coming Sensei…”

Fue looks defeated as he begins to walk off until Lyra walks beside him, grabbing his shoulder.

Lyra-“Now hold on just a second…”

Panel 4

Shows Lyra looking bold at the teacher.

Lyra-“…If Fue doesn’t want to go with you then he doesn’t have to.”

Panel 5

Shows Fue’s teacher looking down on him.

Fue’s Sensei-“Whether he wants to or not doesn’t matter. I’m his teacher, and if I say he stays, he stays!”

Shows Xiphos taking out one of his note cards.

Xiphos-“In regards to all teaching sessions, they must all follow the specific guidelines provided by the-“

Panel 2

The teacher laughs as he grabs onto his forehead.

Fue’s Sensei-“Hahaha. Those ‘guidelines’ of theirs are a complete sham. They’re so pathetic that they’ll let even brats like you be Daemons. I’m using my own guideline to make better students for training.”

Panel 3

Fue’s teacher lowers his arms now to a taunting position.

Fue’s Sensei-“But I’ll tell you what. If you three and your precious rules can beat me I’ll gladly let Fue go.”

Panel 4

Xiphos steps in front of Lyra and Fue to confront the teacher.

Xiphos-“It’s a Daemons duty to handle affairs. I’ll challenge you by myself.”

Panel 5

Lyra pushing Xiphos back.

Lyra-“You can’t do that. You still look injured from fighting that horned guy.”

Shows a frontal mid shot of the teacher.

Fue’s Sensei-“So just you two and me is fine. I’ll even have my hands behind my back.”

Lyra begins to head up while Fue tugs at her side.

Lyra-“You’re gonna regret that! I was gonna do the same thing as well!”

Fue-“Wait! You can’t do that!”

Panel 3

Shows the teacher looking menacingly eager with both hands behind him.

Fue-“He’s just tricking you. Sensei’s a teacher for enchantment using Daemons. He specializes in long range magic’s.”

Shows Fue stunned as Lyra pats her hand on him.

Lyra-“That doesn’t matter...”

Shows Lyra smiling at Fue

Lyra-“…For a while I acted cowardly by only helping myself. But now I want to do my best to help others.”

Lyra-(If I can hit him like I did to that one guy I might be able to win.)

Lyra and Fue are shocked as they are caught in a giant earthquake that’s shattering the ground.

Shows Xiphos barley able to stand up from the quake.

Xiphos-(I can’t let Lyra get herself killed.)

Lyra tries to gain some balance in the still quaking rumble.

Lyra-“AH! How am I suppose to stop this!?”

Close up to the ground splitting under Lyra’s foot.

Panel 4

Lyra shocked, as she begins to fall down.

Panel 5

Lyra, confused, stops in midair and looks to her side.

Shows Fue using an enchantment to keep her afloat.

Fue-“I’ve got you!”

Lyra-“Toss me as hard as you can at him!”

Fue-“Wha-!?”

Fue moves his hands as if he was throwing her.

Lyra-“Just do it!”

Fue-“Alright then.”

Fue’s Sensei-“HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!! NONE OF YOU WILL EVER COME CLOSE TO THE POWER OF MY SHATTERING EARTH TECHNIQUE!!”

Shows Lyra head butting Fue’s teacher in the gut, which puts him in pain comically.

Panel 2

Fue’s teacher is spun back several feet and lands face first on the ground.

The teacher looks back up furiously.

Fue’s Sensei-“How could-“

Shows Fue’s teacher frozen in fear as Lyra towers over him, cracking her knuckles menacingly.

Lyra-“I know I said I wasn’t gonna use my hands as well but I don’t really play fair with bullies.”

Shows the three standing over him.

Xiphos-“The medics are on their way to get him.”

Fue-“I’m really sorry Sensei.”

Lyra-“He was the one being a jerk. Now he wont be a problem with you.”

Xiphos and Lyra head off as Fue remains over his teacher.

Fue-“Right but…I never thought I could get this far.  I can finally go wherever I want but I have no place in mind to go.”

Lyra smiles back at Fue.

Lyra-“Did you forget already? We’re all gonna go to where Yomi is.”

Fue-“Haha that’s right!”(Travelling with people like them…Maybe this is what having friends is like…)

Lyra-“Hey, aren’t you coming?”

Shows an over the shoulder view of Fue pointing to his left while Lyra bashes Xiphos on the head.

Fue-“Well Lord Yomi is that way.”

Lyra-“I KNEW WE WERE GOING THE WRONG WAY!”
